The high release from Cannonsville kept the West Branch water temps pretty steady. The other river temps dropped overnight and will take a while to warm up today. There are some spots okay for wading on the West Branch but floating is better at this level. The Mainstem and East Branch have better wade conditions. The West Branch continues to have the tint from the reservoir. It’s been a bonus for streamer fishing. Cahills, hebes, Isonychias, olives, and caddis are all hatching in some numbers. Streamers and nymphs will still be the best bets early.
