Delaware River Report: April 7, 2026

The river flows have dropped a bit more and there are wade opportunities on the Beaverkill and Willowemoc. The big rivers need a little more time but they are dropping. Water temps remain low after last nights cold. They shouldn’t climb much today with cloud cover and the cold air temp. We warm back up tomorrow and it looks like we stay warmer for the next 10 days. The higher water will keep streamers as the best bet. People are starting to nymph some spots. Once the warmer weather settles in and the water temps climb we should see the fish eating on top again.

Today will be 36 degrees with clouds and a possible snow shower. Wind will be 15 – 25 mph from the North.
