Delaware River Report: April 18, 2026

Water flows and temps are great for mid April. It’s still mainly stoneflies, little black caddis, and some olives but we are seeing some Blue Quills and the odd Quill Gordon and Hendrickson. The bugs should pick up a lot in the the next week. Nymphing and streamers are the best bets early but we are seeing better bugs everyday.

Today will be 74 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds. There is a chance of a stray shower. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the South.
