We had wind, rain, and snow showers yesterday. Along with the best bugs so far this season. There are Hendricksons and apple caddis on some sections plus blue quills, olives, and little black caddis. The wind has been tough but the fish are eating in protected areas and in between gusts. The flows are up a bit from the rian but are dropping back this morning. The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs. Today is going to be similar to yesterday but a bit colder. The colder nights dropped the water temps so it will take a little longer to warm up today. We’ll start to warm up again tomorrow.
Today will be 40 degrees with some morning snow showers. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.
