Delaware River Report: April 23, 2026

Yesterday was another good bug day with Hendricksons, Blue Quills, Olives, and little black caddis. Some river sections are seeing decent apple caddis too. The fish are looking up in the afternoons and it’s turning out to be a good Spring. The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs and there is 248 cfs spilling over the top. There are still decent wad opportunities at this level – just pick your spots carefully.

Today will be 66 degrees and partly cloudy. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the North.
