Today’s rain is predicted around 1/2″ but spread out over 12 hours. The trees are leafing out so the ground should soak a lot of it as long as it’s a light steady rain. We’ll have wind again but we’ve had wind almost every day. Today looks like a good fishing day. Nymphing early with the hatches coming in the afternoon. Water temps are up a few degrees compared to yesterday morning. There’s still a mix of bugs on most river sections. Hendricksons, blue quills, olives, little black caddis, apple caddis, Dark Brachycentrus, and March Browns. We’re seeing some spinners mixed in too. The release from Cannonsville is 902 cfs with only 15 cfs spilling.
Today will be 61 degrees with steady rainfall totaling around 1/2″. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
