Delaware River Report: May 13, 2026

We woke up to light rain that should continue most of the day. Total rainfall during the day looks minor at .1″ with another .35″ coming overnight. If the flows change dramatically during the day we’ll post an update. Click on the gauge links below for the latest flow data. We’ll have wind to contend with but that’s been most days this Spring. The release from Cannonsville is 902 cfs with 160 cfs spilling. The best wading is still on the Upper East Branch, the Beaverkill, and Willowemoc. There are some spots on the West that are wadeable but check them out before wading right in. Hendricksons are hatching on some sections along with caddis and Hendrickson spinners. Dark Brachycentrus, Gray Fox, and March Browns are out on other river sections. Blue quills are even hanging on in some parts of the river.

Today will be 63 degrees with rain showers. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
