Both Cannonsville and Pepacton Reservoirs are spilling. The release from Cannonsville has been cut back again to 600 cfs with 162 cfs coming over the spillway. There are more wade opportunities now and the Beaverkill has dropped to a nice level at 600 cfs. The bright sun has brought the caddis out in force. It’s also made it a little tough to find consistent rising fish during the day. Patience usually pays off when the river gets like this. The heat should break Wednesday. Hendricksons are still on the upper river sections with March Browns, Gray Fox, and olives mixed.
Today will be 91 degrees with sun. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
