Delaware River Report: May 19, 2026

Both Cannonsville and Pepacton Reservoirs are spilling. The release from Cannonsville has been cut back again to 600 cfs with 32 cfs coming over the spillway. The West Branch, Willowemoc, and Beaverkill are in great shape for wading. The East is still a bit high but is slowly dropping. Caddis have been around in good number getting some fish looking up even in the sunshine. Today looks similar to yesterday with a more wind so plan accordingly. Hendricksons are still on the upper river sections with March Browns, Gray Fox, and olives mixed.

Today will be 87 degrees with sun and clouds mixed. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the South.
