Delaware River Report: May 24, 2026

We came through the rain in good shape. It was spread out over a long period so the rivers and creeks handled it well. The river flows looked like they have peaked and are beginning to drop this morning. The West Branch looks good out front this morning and is fishable. Wading is still an option. We’ll should see a negligible amount of rain this morning with another possible .5″ overnight. Today is going to be cool again with the wind. Some people stuck it out yesterday and found some fish on top. Nymphing will be the best option early. Streamers will also be worth a try today. If there are any major changes in conditions today we’ll update the blog. Click on the gauge links below for the latest flow data.

Today will be 53 degrees with a chance of a shower this morning and cloudy in the afternoon. Total rainfall during the day should be .05″. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the South.

Art with one on a dry fly yesterday.
The flow at Hale Eddy has peaked and is dropping.
