The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. We had some isolated light rain showers yesterday afternoon but not enough to affect the flows. The West Branch is in great shape. The Beaverkill, Willowemoc, lower East Branch, and Mainstem are still all high and very off color. The fishing on the West Branch will be the same as it’s been for a few weeks. The daytime sulphurs are hatching in Deposit mixed with some olives and a few Isonychias. Smaller seems to be better. Stick to the lower West if you want to nymph. The algae has been bad up top making it a dry fly only game.
