The release from Cannonsville is 549 cfs. Today looks like a good day to be on the water with clouds and a chance of light rain. The cool air temps are starting to help the water temps on some of the lower river sections. Hopefully this weather pattern sticks around. There have been some flying ants most days bringing some fish to the surface. The olives have been pretty good for the last few days too. Some people have had some success blind casting Isonychias and Cahills. The mid day sulphurs are getting a bit spotty as the hatch wanes but there still are some out there. There are some olives mixed in plus a few Isonychias and Cahills. Stick to the lower West if you want to nymph. The algae has been bad up top making it a dry fly only game.
Today will be 72 degrees with clouds and a chance of rain showers. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
