This morning the release from the Cannonsville reservoir is 494 cfs. With flows at this level the West Branch is still looking good and fishing great. The most solid action has still been on the upper West Branch during the day. Towards evening action spreads out over the entire West Branch as spinners start to show. Guys did well yesterday floating the Upper West Branch and were able cover a good amount of water. Fishing from a boat gives you the ability to cover more favorable water during the heat of the day while still floating through excellent pool where large browns like to hold. It looks like the forecast for the next 2 days has overcast skies with a chance of showers, this could cool things down quite a bit and give us a little bit of rain that we desperately need.
