Cannonsville is releasing 877 cfs this morning. Water Temperatures are still very good on the entire length of the West Branch. The Upper Main Stem has good looking temperatures as well. Yesterday on the Upper West there were a good amount of bugs on the water, although we did not have targets early on, as the day passed we found several areas with plenty of rising fish. Most areas where we had fish feeding we found that there were a larger numbers of average fish with a few really good fish in the mix at each spot. The Lower West Branch also had bugs through much of the day yesterday. At these water levels throwing streamers at the banks can be extremely productive, also terrestrials and large stimulators work well. The most productive means of fishing is still going to be from a boat, but there are still some spots that will be excellent for wade fishermen.
