The cool nights and cloud cover are doing their job and the Mainstem at Lordville peaked at 65 degrees yesterday. Not too bad for the first week of August. It looks like we have settled into the 500 cfs release from Cannonsville which is decent for wading and floating. There is a little water coming in from the feeders and Hale Eddy is flowing at 585 cfs. A little rain over the next couple of days would help the system. There may be some thunderstorms next week but it’s a little too far out to tell for sure.
Isonychias, sulphurs, cahills, and olives are still on the menu. The olives vary in size from size #14 Cornutas all the way down to #26 pseudos so carry a good assortment out there.
