Delaware River Report: April 14, 2024

The river flows are beginning to drop slowly but it will take a while to get to normal levels. Floating is still the only safe option this morning. The smaller feeder streams should offer some wade opportunities in the headwaters. Streamers and nymphs have been the best bets on the larger rivers since the river flows came up. The dry fly fishing should pick back up as the water drops and temps increase. The 10 day forecast shows us back in the 60’s all week so that should definitely help. Like always bring a dry fly rod just in case today.

Today will be 63 degrees with some rain showers and a possible afternoon thunderstorm. Total precip should be .11″. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
