Delaware River Report: April 18, 2025

Yesterday people landed fish on nymphs, streamers, and dries. The water temps are in great shape and it feels like things are really starting to happen. We’ll have some wind to contend with but the bright sun and warm air temp should push the water temps even higher today. It’s cool this morning but should warm up a little quicker today. Olives, small black caddis, and stoneflies should be out. We should see a few blue quills start to pop any day now.

Today will be 69 degrees with sunshine. Come clouds may move in during the afternoon. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the South.
