Yesterday fished well with nymphs in the morning and dry flies in the afternoon. The caddis have been heavy in some areas so definitely keep those patterns handy. Dry fly fishing has really picked up. The West Branch flow came up a bit with the spill but should level off. The release is 600 cfs with 374 cfs spilling over the top. The Best wade opportunities are on the East Branch above the Beaverkill, The Beaverkill, and the Willowemoc. There are spots you can wade the other rivers but it will be somewhat limited. Today looks like a beautiful day to be on the water. Hendricksons, Blue Quills, Olives, apple caddis, and little black caddis.
Today will be 71 degrees with abundant sunshine. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
