Delaware River Report: April 3, 2025

We have a little rain falling this morning but it should soak in the ground and not change the flows. Wind will be lighter today by a little bit but still up midday. Keep that in mind when choosing your spot. We’re coming off a cool night but it will be much warmer today. Once the water temps bump up this afternoon we have a shot at some olives and stoneflies being on the water. If the wind is still blowing try to find a protected spot. Streamers and nymphs will still be the best bets – especially early. The flows look good and people are floating and wading the rivers.

Today will be much warmer with the air temp hitting 69 degrees. Rain this morning may hit 1/4″. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
