Delaware River Report: April 8, 2025

Yesterday was chilly but people did get out to fish. It was another nymph nd streamer day. The snow covered the ground in the higher elevations but melted by mid morning. The wind will make today tough so it’s likely another day of nymphs and streamers. It feels like early March again. Find some protected bends or banks below islands to try to hide from it. Tomorrow we should be back in the 40’s with at least a little sunshine and less wind.

Today will be cold with the air temp peaking at 30 degrees with cloud cover. Wind will be 20 – 30 mph from the North.

Sam Jones definitely had his nymphs deep enough yesterday
