Delaware River Report: April 9, 2024

Today looks gorgeous with the air temp hitting 70 degrees and light and variable wind. This is the lightest wind we’ve seen in a while. The water temps are looking good this morning and should spike up today. We should see decent bugs in the afternoon with a mix of little black caddis, stoneflies, blue wing olives, and some blue quills. While the water levels are dropping the tailwaters are still in great shape for floating but too high to wade. The best wading opportunities will be on the Beaverkill and Willowemoc. The spill over Cannonsville Dam is 313 cfs.

Today will be 74 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun. Wind will be light and variable.
