Delaware River Report: August 10, 2024

Yesterday’s storm hit us hard in the afternoon and caused some localized flooding. All of the river flows are way up and the rivers are chocolate. The feeder streams are still pushing a lot of water so it will take a few days for the flows to drop. Give it a few days for the rivers to return to safe levels. If you’re already in the area Stilesville is 500 cfs so there should be some fishable water once you get above the feeders. There was color in the water up there yesterday but that should clear today. It looked like they dropped the release for a bit yesterday and are bringing it back up now.

Today will be 79 degrees with sunshine and clouds mixed. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from North.

The flow at Hale Eddy is dropping this morning
