Delaware River Report: August 11, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 801 cfs this morning as we received another overnight pulse of water. We expect it to drop back to 500 cfs later this morning. Expect another warm and sunny day, so look for cooler water near the dams and shaded areas. Your best time for rising fish will be evening but try blind casting the large Cahills and Isos in the riffles.

The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are still peaking in the mid to high 70’s. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.

Today will be 88 degrees and sunny. Winds from the South at 5 to 10mph.

Chris Brown put a nice one in the net yesterday.
