Delaware River Report: August 13, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is back to 500 cfs. It’s slightly cooler today and there’s a chance for thunderstorms this afternoon and some much needed rain. Look for olives hatching after the rainfall and try some blind casting in the riffles with Isos beforehand.

The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are still peaking in the mid to high 70’s. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.

Today will be 82 degrees with some potential thunderstorms in the afternoon. Winds from the SW at 5 to 10 mph.
