The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. We were hit with a few storms overnight. The West Branch at Hale Eddy is 826 cfs. It looks like the flow has peaked and should start to drop. The flow on Oquaga Creek bumped to 92 cfs so there is some color in the water. The West is still at a decent level for wading and floaThis could be a good streamer morning. The fishing on the WB has stayed relatively consistent with the summer sulphurs hatching midday in Deposit. There are some olives mixed in plus a few Isonychias and Cahills. Stick to the lower West if you want to nymph. The algae has been bad up top making it a dry fly only game.
Today will be 79 degrees and partly cloudy. There may be a stray shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the NW.
