The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. The flows have dropped back a bit more and today looks like a beautiful day to be on the water. Yesterday was an odd mix of dry fly fish and nymphing in the sunshine so be ready for just about anything. The mid day sulphurs are getting a bit spotty as the hatch wanes but there still are some out there. It’s also still the best shot at daytime dry fly action – especially on these sunny days. There are some olives mixed in plus a few Isonychias and Cahills. Stick to the lower West if you want to nymph. The algae has been bad up top making it a dry fly only game.
