We’d like to thank all of the volunteers that showed up for the 7th annual Get Trashed River cleanup. Over 90 people showed up to clean the river, sections, of road, and access points. It’s an amazing group that does a lot of good for the river system.
We have some light rain / heavy mist this morning. Wunderground is calling for afternoon thunderstorms and .59″ of rain but keep and eye on the radar in case they slide around us. We had a bit more rain than forecasted yesterday but the rivers held together and look good. There were some olives and Isonychias around. Sporadic rising fish in the riffles seemed happy to eat an Isonychia. If we do get the rain today it would probably make a decent streamer afternoon. Large amounts of flying ants are more likely to fall on humid days but definitely have them in your box.
Today will be 77 degrees with clouds and light rain showers in the morning developing into thunderstorms in the afternoon. Total rainfall should be .59″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
