We’re in a cooling stretch with decent daytime temps and cloud cover today. The rain in the 10 day forecast looks negligible. That should definitely help keep the lower East Branch and Mainstem water temps in check. There is still a tinge of color on the the Main but it’s looking okay. The West Branch is in great shape and clear. Small olives and Isonychias have been around along with a few left over sulphurs. Flying ants have been spotted but we haven’t seen a big fall yet.
Today will be 64 degrees, mainly cloudy, and a chance of a rain shower. We m ay see some heavier showers in the afternoon. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.
