The rain slid around us yesterday and all of the rivers are in good shape this morning. The cooler air temps and cloud cover over the last few days really helped the water temps on the Beaverkill, East Branch, and Mainstem. Today will be warmer with some sunshine but no wind for a change. Nymphing has still been the best bet early but we are seeing decent olives in the evening. Isonychias worked well last night as the sun dropped. The warmer weather coming should be better for the flying ants.
Today will be 77 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun. Wind will be light and variable.
