A few rainstorms passed though overnight but the lower West Branch looks fine this morning. The flow at Hale Eddy is up a little to 761 cfs. Stilesville remains a steady 509 cfs. There are stim some sulpjjurs mixed with olives on the upper river sections. The sulphur hatch seems to be waning but we’re still finding some. The mid to lower West has been better for nymphing and there is a shot at olives and Isonychias today with the cooler temps and rain. The river flows are dropping but check the gauge links for the latest flow information. The Beaverkill, East Branch, and Mainstem are all off color. Every weather channel we check has a different forecast for tomorrow. The latest we’re seeing is 2″ of rain. Keep an eye on the radar.
Today will be 69 degrees with clouds and an afternoon rain shower. Total rainfall should be .12″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
