Delaware River Report: August 9, 2023

The river flows have dropped back and we’re at good levels for wading and floating. The West Branch at Hale Eddy flow should continue to drop slowly today. The best bet for dry fly fishing is still going to be the midday sulphurs and olives in the coldest water closest to the dams. Nymphing and streamers will be better on the mid to lower West Branch.

This weekend is our annual Get Trashed cleanup event. Join us for a great time removing trash from the river system.

Today will be 79 degrees with mostly sunshine. Wind will be 10 – 15 from the West.
