Delaware River Report: August 9, 2024

1:30 update: We’re very high and off color. Oquaga Creek is coming in at 2,200 cfs and the flow at Hale Eddy is 3,670 and climbing.

As of 6:30 am Wunderground is calling for 2.35″ of rain today. The flow at Hale Eddy is 1,060 cfs and is bumping back up. There is already color in the mid to lower West Branch. Stilesville remains a steady 509 cfs. Oquaga Creek is 199 cfs and bumping up again. There will be some localized flooding in the feeder creeks. Today will be 75 degrees with showers and thunderstorms this morning followed by showers in the afternoon. Total rainfall should be 2.35″. Wind will be 15 – 25 mph from the South.
