Delaware River Report / Conditions 4/20/2011

The rain last night brought the rivers up slightly, but the West Branch is reasonably clear.  A few more showers in the forecast today, but no significant amounts are expected.  We have warmer air temps predicted this week, which will hopefully bring the water temps up and stimulate some hatching activity. Today looks like a great baetis day!

Hatches:

Taeniopteryx fasciata – Brown Stoneflies #12-14

Chimarra – Little black Caddis #16-18

Baetis vagans – blue winged olives #16-18
