Delaware River Report / Conditions April 29, 2020

We are following the State’s order and are closed right now.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com/

Let’s keep the local pictures going.  Since everyone should be fishing local to their homes send us pictures of your locally caught fish and we’ll put them here on the blog.  Even chubs would be cool.  Email them to flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com

Yesterday was great day to be out.  It felt like Summer when the sun was shining.  The wind wasn’t too bad and there were a lot of calm stretches.  Blue Quills, Hendricksons, and caddis were out in good numbers in the afternoon.  There were enough fish up to keep everyone busy.  Today will be 56 degrees with 15 – 20 mph wind from the South.  The flows are still a bit high throughout the system but are dropping for now.  Keep an eye on the rain coming Thursday and Thursday night.  We may see quite a bit that will bring the flows up.  Hopefully Wunderground is wrong and it slides South of us.
