Delaware River Report / Conditions April 7, 2020

It’s okay to fish locally.  It’s not okay to travel long distances to fish.  So stay local for now.

We are following the State’s order and are closed right now.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com/  Our flies are stocked and we will be adding new products over the next few weeks.  Hopefully this all passes soon.

Since everyone should be fishing local to their homes send us pictures of your locally caught fish and we’ll put them here on the blog.  Even chubs would  be cool.  Email them to flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com

Today will be another mix of sun and clouds on the Upper Delaware.  Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North and the air temp will hit 62 degrees.  Both Cannonsville and Pepacton are at 99.6% capacity.  We do have some rain coming later in the week but it looks like less than 1″ spread out over 4 or 5 days.  It sounds like no matter where you are fishing in the Northeast it’s time to carry all of your Spring patterns and be prepared for anything.
