Delaware River Report / Conditions August 13, 2020

The river flows are down significantly since yesterday but there is still some runoff working it’s way through the system.  Luckily there’s no real rain in the forecast until Sunday.  We’ll hit the mid 80’s today with cloud cover in the morning giving way to a mix of clouds and sun in the afternoon.  Wind will be light and variable.  There is still some color in the lower West Branch but it is clear enough to fish.  It’s not clear but there is enough visibility to make it work.  Streamers may be a good bet early.  It is clear enough for fish to rise if there is a hatch.  Nymphing has also been a good option on the lower West this week.  We have some cooler nights coming up over the weekend which should help the water temperatures.
