Yesterday was tough in the bright sun. Nymphing and wet flies were definitely your best bet. The upper West is your best bet for mid afternoon dry fly action but be patient and look around for good fish. They’ve been shy on the bright sun days but they are there. Sulphurs, mall olives, and isonychia will cover most of the flies. If you want to fish the mornings try to get out there before the sun hits the water. Low light conditions and shade really help on the bright days. Today looks like it will be a mirror image of yesterday with a bit less wind. We’ll have mostly sun, air temp of 85 degrees, and light and variable winds. Right now Wunderground is calling for a 60% chance of light rain tomorrow (less than 1/4″) so hopefully that brings in the cloud cover.
