Delaware River Report / Conditions August 21, 2020

Today will be warmer than yesterday with the air temp creeping back up into the mid 80’s.  Luckily the nights will stay cool and we should drop back to 60 degrees tonight.  Olives and caddis shave been our mainstays with a few isonychias and left over sulphurs mixed in for good measure.  There are still tricos in the morning but like always if you see them and don’t find fish eating move.  Nymphing or swinging wets will probably be your best bets during the day today but blind casting an isonychia or caddis in the riffles should also work well.  The flow at Stilesville is 408 cfs and the flow at Hale Eddy is just under 600 cfs.
