Delaware River Report / Conditions August 22, 2018

The levels throughout the system are slowly dropping as the runoff subsides. There’s some light rain this morning and the forecast is calling for scattered showers throughout the day. However, the rain shouldn’t affect the water levels much. There is still warm water spilling over both reservoirs and the release from Cannonsville remains at 1,500 cfs. Once the cooler release mixes with the spill water downstream, the temperatures drop to a decent level. The upper East Branch temperatures have dropped significantly overnight. We should see that trend continue as the week goes on.
