Delaware River Report / Conditions August 31, 2021

We had a couple brief afternoon showers yesterday that didn’t do much for the river but gave us a few clouds.  As the sun dropped the tiny olives hatched.  A few people found some rising fish.  Nymphing seemed to be the better option to put fish in the net.  We should have cloud cover most of the day as Ida moves into the area.  78 degrees with wind 5 – 10 mph from the North.  Wunderground is not showing any rain for us today.  We should see some beginning tomorrow.  We’re keeping an eye on the forecast and hoping most of it will stay South of us.
