All the rivers in the system still have some runoff pushing through this morning. The West Branch is in good shape and looks good out front. It was off color most of yesterday but fishable. There were fish landed on streamers and dry flies. Oquaga Creek was pushing a lot of silt so anyone above that had clear, low water in Stilesville. Dark streamers seemed to produce the best but caddis, sulphurs, and cahills were hatching in the evening. The river is much clearer this morning and is at 721 cfs and falling at Hale Eddy. The air temp will begin to climb today as we enter another heat wave. Streamers are still a viable option today and there are Pseudos on the door this morning. Most of the mayflies came in the evening but the caddis should be active in the sunshine.
