Delaware River Report / Conditions June 8, 2021

It seemed like most of yesterday’s thunderstorms slid south of us.  We had clouds and could see the lightening in the distance but we didn’t get a drop of rain.  Today we have a better chance of some rain with Wunderground giving us an 88% chance of seeing some storms.  It will be cooler today at 81 degrees and the wind will be light.  The Beaverkill desperately needs some rain so hopefully we get hit.  The release from Cannonsville was dropped back slightly to 500 cfs again.

The lower East Branch, lower Beaverkill, and Mainstem will be too hot to fish today.  The water temps peaked at or over 70 degrees yesterday and are starting off warmer this morning.  Please give these rivers a break and fish the cold water areas.
