Delaware River Report / Conditions September 17, 2020

Yesterday was another decent day on the water with fish eating olives. We also had a few other reports of fish being caught on isonychias and heptagenia which is always great news in the early Fall.  The colder weather has really helped.  We’ll be a little warmer today at 73 degrees but the clouds should roll in during the afternoon.  Wind should only be around 5 mph from the West.  It looks like a really good afternoon to be on the water.

We’re beginning to see a bit of cloudiness in the West Branch from the release.  It’s slight right now and doesn’t bother the fish.  It happens every Fall when the reservoir begins to turn over.
