Delaware River Report / Conditions September 26, 2021

The release from Cannonsville remains steady at 1,400 cfs.  People landed fish on streamers and nymphs mid day and found some fish rising to olives in the afternoon.  There are some Isonychias and cahills around too but small olives are the strongest hatch right now.  There is still a lot of runoff pushing through the system and wading is not recommended.  The Beaverkill and Willowemoc will offer the first wade opportunities over the next few days.  Today will be sunny and 66 degrees.  Wind from the North 10 – 15 mph.
