Delaware River Report: July 1, 2024

Another round of thundersrtorms hit us yesterday morning. This raised the flows on the Beaverkill and lower system but had little affect on the West.

The summer mayflies are still hatching. Make sure to bring a variety of sulphur patterns as well as cahills, Isos and some different sizes of olives.

Partly cloudy today with a high of 73. Winds 10 – 15 mph from the North, dropping in the evening.

The Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, East Branch at Fishs Eddy, and Mainstem at Lordville water temps all peaked at 70 degrees or higher yesterday. It’s still time to give these rivers a break.
