Delaware River Report: July 13, 2025

The West Branch looks good out front this morning. We had some rain yesterday that bumped the flows and some creeks were putting some color in the river. They all dropped back to normal quickly and things look fine. We’re still fishing the midday Sulphurs in Deposit. Isonychias, Cahills, and olives are still in play too. Nymphing or swinging wets would be the best bets early. If we get more rain and the creeks throw color again we could have some decent streamer fishing. We may see some afternoon storms so keep an eye on the radar.

The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are all peaked in the mid to high 70’s yesterday. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.

Today will be 81 degrees with clouds in the morning and a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Total rainfall should be .24″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
