Delaware River Report: July 25, 2024

We were hit with a pretty big thunderstorm overnight and the rivers are up and off color. The flow at Stilesvile bumped 30 cfs and is 532 cfs this morning. That’s the best bet for fishing and the only place to wade. The flow at Hale Eddy is 3,450 cfs. It is already dropping but that will take a couple of days to get back to normal. As long as there isn’t debris floating down there should be some decent streamer fishing from a boat. Click on the river gauge links below for the latest flow information.

Today will be 76 degrees and partly cloudy. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.

The Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, the East Branch at Fishs Eddy, and the Mainstem water temps are all too hot to fish this morning. It’s time to give these rivers a break.

The flow at Hale Eddy is already dropping.
