Delaware River Report: July 3, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs. We have clouds and light rain this morning. We’ll take it over another bright sunny day. Nymphing or swinging wets will still be the best bets early. Streamers are still putting some fish in the net. If you’re not getting follows switch up size and color. Bind casting Isonychias or Cahills in the riffles could pay off. The hatches have been later in the day. We may get some localized afternoon thunderstorms so keep an eye on the radar and click on the gauge links below for the latest flows.

The Beaverkill, Lower East Branch, and Mainstem water temps are all peaking in the high 60’s to low 70’s. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.

Today will be 79 degrees with a few showers early and potential thunderstorms in the afternoon. Total rainfall should be .5″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
