Delaware River Report: June 1, 2025

Both reservoirs are spilling again. The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs. There is 410 cfs spilling. The spill will increase quite a bit today. The West is high with color but it is fishable from a boat. There are no safe wading options in the system today. It looks like a decent streamer day and there will be bugs in the afternoon. Just find a spot where the fish can set up to eat and be patient. We had decent hatches yesterday while the flows were climbing so there is a possibility. It was just tough to find fish on them.

Today will be 59 degrees with a few morning showers. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.
