Delaware River Report: June 12, 2024

Today looks like another good day with cool air, cloud cover, and no wind. We may see some caddis in the riffles early but nymphing or swinging wets will be your best bets early. It is the time of year to blind cast Isonychias and cahills in the riffles too. The sulphurs and olives should come as the sun drops but there’s always a shot at them coming a little earlier with this weather. Spinners should come in the evening too but if you find fish rising early they’re worth trying anytime.

Today will be 73 degrees and overcast. Wind will be light and variable.
